Winning The NFL Fit Game (Playoff Edition - Part 1)
Regardless of the scoreboard, some players always come correct with their pre-game outfit. This is the first part of a series that will go through the SuperBowl.
This is always a polarizing time in the NFL season. Some fanbases, like that of my 49ers, get restless because their team was knocked out of playoff contention weeks ago. Others will feel the pain of thinking their team will survive wildcard weekend only to have their hopes shattered. And yet others will go into next week’s playoff game and end up with the “so close but so far” disappointment. But the game outcome has no bearing on how sharp some of these players look when walking through the tunnel. Below I’ve highlighted a few pros from all the teams whose seasons have ended in the last few days, but still put that shit on before kickoff.
Pittsburgh Steelers - Russell Wilson

Russ took over the QB1 spot from Justin Fields earlier this season, but also clearly took the lead with his outfits. This shouldn’t be a surprise given that he’s also the founder of Good Man Brand, a brand that within a few years of inception was already selling at stores like Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. He and his wife Ciara also started The House of LR&C, the holding company for Good Man Brand as well as a few other lines they’re looking to expand to various audiences.
Los Angeles Chargers - Kristian Fulton
This was Kristian’s first season in LA and his fits did not disappoint. In a previous interview he said he loves Deion Sanders’ quote “When you look good, you feel good, you play good,” because it gives him the confidence he needs to perform. He also mentioned wanting to start a clothing brand one day and being part of the fashion world.
Minnesota Vikings - Justin Jefferson

No one should be surprised that Jettas made this list. He’s been interviewed profiled by Vogue and GQ, attended last year’s fashion week in Paris, styled by Amiri at last year’s NFL Honors, and so much more. With a penchant for expensive jewelry, this man takes his outfits very seriously, and is always experimenting with what looks good and getting outside of his fashion comfort zone.
Denver Broncos - Patrick Surtain II
Patrick signed a four year contract extension worth $96M at the beginning of the season. The cornerback is in the top 10 for most interceptions this season. While he’s outworking offenses on the field, he’s also outworking his teammates and, in my opinion, is by far one of the most fashionable players the Broncos have on their roster.
Green Bay Packers - Brandon McManus
Brandon is the only kicker this season to have made all of his extra points and boasts a 95% Field Goal Completion rate. Honestly didn’t expect to add a kicker to this list (no disrespect to any of them who might be reading this) but he absolutely comes correct when it comes to fashion. A few years ago he launched a line in partnership with Shinesty (a local brand while he was playing for the Broncos). While it doesn’t look like he’s working on that anymore, I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes another shot at it in the near future.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TBD
While it pains me to say this, none of the Bucs players made this list for me. While I respect their individual styles, there wasn’t anyone who had hit after hit as they headed to the game. Maybe I missed someone (and I’m always quick to admit when I’m wrong) but we’ll have to wait until next season to see if any of them show out off the field.
How are y’all feeling about this list? Was I wrong about any of the Buccaneers players? Was there someone from any of the aforementioned teams you think had better style than their teammates? Comment below and let me know.
